The time required for printing

The printing schedule starts only after payment is completed and the proof is approved. After you review and approve our proof files or printed proofs, the print plate is created and printing starts. More information about proof is described in the “Proofing Process for Printing”.

If you approve the proof before 9 am, the printing proceeds immediately and shipping can be started according to the time indicated in the online quotation. However, if you approve it after 9 am, it may take one more day than the time indicated in the online quotation because we need to adjust the printing schedule.

NetPrint's print facilities are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, so we need to calculate the printing time on a weekday basis. If we approve the proof on Friday afternoon, the actual printing time should start from Monday. Please note that even if you approve the proof in the morning time, the time zone of the printing factory location may differ from yours. If then, the printing schedule is based on the time zone of the printing facilities. If approved at 9 am but the facilities' time is 11 am due to the time difference, the actual time required may be increased.

The above lead time could be changed a little bit longer, so we recommend that you do not plan your business schedule too tight and consider additional spare time than our expected turnaround time, just in case. If urgent printing is required, or if the time needs to be precisely set, it is safe to order in advance to approve the proof and proceed with printing. Schedules are subject to change depending on the conditions of the printing plant, climate, paper stock and supply, and many other conditions. The possibility of this change must be taken into account when creating a business schedule. If there is an urgent print or deadline, it is a good idea to inform our representative manager before ordering to make sure that the print schedule is available and to be careful in advance.

The lead time for printing may increase if your order has a large quantity or lots of add-on types. It usually takes longer time if the following conditions exist:

• Bulk printing
• Various finishing options (add-on)
• Unusual coating
• Complex die cut

Printing time does not include time spent on shipping or mailing. The delivery time according to the shipping option could be checked by your representative manager before ordering, or will be updated after ordering.
